Tried them on out of the package and I know these are going to keep me warm on ski days. Might be warmer than I might want but at least I won't be freezing.
I don’t know how these will wear, but I love these. I got them because I love the big mons logo on the waistband. It didn’t occur to me that the thicker waistband would also make them extra comfortable and flattering, because no pinching. Comfortable against the skin, highly adaptive fit (they fit me, a slender female, as well as my smedium husband). They look and fit next-level better than my icebreaker and smart wool leggings!
I run quite hot so these have not been used yet (I also bought a set of the 200 weight leggings) but they fit well and I expect that they will be proportionately warmer than the Cascade leggings which are doing a great job keeping me warm, in -15ºC temperatures, under my spring/ summer mountain bike riding trousers (not Mons Royale as they don’t make a 34: inseam). On the matter of inseam these are long enough for my 33.5” inseam which is a pleasant surprise without having too much cuff material so as to create bunching with a sock inside the cuff of a taller boot. And as reviews without reference to size are as pointless as ice in a glass of water during winter note that I am 6’2”/ 188 cm tall, 35”/ 88 cm waist, 33.5”/ 85 cm inseam and weigh 95 kg/ 209 lbs. Think more rugby flanker than endurance cyclist in build. I wear Mons Royale “pants and bottoms” in size Large and they are a perfect fit. Very happy with the current range of Mons leggings (& boxers)
my husband loves them, found them to be the warmest option after trying icebreaker and smartwool first
The 250 thickness will be warm. The medium is on the tight side versus the medium Temple Tech LS shirt i purchased which was on the loose side. Still, I have only tried them on, but the quality seems good.
