A friend intoduced me to Mons Royale and in my 40+ years of mountain biking these pants have made an indelible impression! So much I own 2 pairs. I'm 5'10" 175lbs 34 waist and the large size is good with a base layer, but loose without. The medium size is perfect for warmer temps not requiring an additional base layer. Both sizes work well with knee pads. As for performance I've yet to take an unscheduled dirt sample, but no issues with sage brush, manzanita, and pine bows. I put them on and don't think about them, they just perform! And find myself reaching for them for a baselayer under a WP shell pant for snow removal, or just lounging by the fire. They are spendy but life is too short to have sub par recreational equipment...

Almost perfect!
These would be perfect pants if they only had a side zippers for ventilation! Those would make these really versatile! Really like the cut!

Very comfortable to wear, but very hard wearing. The usual Mons Royale quality and fit. When I’m on the bike I’m either wearing these or my Momentum shorts.

Please do your legs a favour and buy these pants! Find myself wearing these to work as a bike mechanic and riding the bike. And at home. And eating breakfast. And at the shops. They're so amazing i don't want to take them off.
