MONS JOURNAL | CRANKWORX 2022

The Home of Crankworx is back!

After a two-year hiatus, Crankworx Whistler returns from the 5th – 14th of August, and we are beyond excited to check out the action.

There’s Whip Off, Speed & Style, Pump Track, Dual Slalom, Downhill, Air DH, EWS Whistler and the return of Red Bull Joyride, with a special course for its 10th anniversary. Whistler Valley is iconic, not only is it the ideal backdrop for the world’s best to take on Crankworx and to celebrate the best of mountain biking culture, but there will also be opportunities for amateur racing and Kidsworx progression.

Following an epic start to the 2022 season with Crankworx Innsbruck and the Canadian Summer Series, Whistler will provide our Mons athlete’s the chance to ride, race, and compete in one of the world’s most famous mountain-bike hub. Mons athlete, Robin Goomes (2022 Innsbruck Dual Speed & Style and Whip Off Winner) told Crankworx:

“I’ve never been to Whistler for Crankworx so I’m super pumped to be going this year. I know it has been a few years since the last one and it’s the OG CWX stomping grounds, so I think it’s gonna be wild! I’m stoked to ride fresh courses, in a sick location, with rad people, and just take in the whole Whistler experience.”
